Chapel-en-le-frith viaduct bolts and ropes

Was driving over to Buxton from Hayfield way earlier on and the viaduct just north of Chapel appeared to have a line of bolts with rings on along most of its length, there were also a number of ropes hanging from them. 
 

Anyone else seen it or know what’s going on? It’s a live rail line so imagine it might be access for checking the structure?

Yeah they’re doing some sort of structural work, there’s a temporary traffic light beneath the viaduct at the turn to Wash where an operations base has been set up in a field. Lots of shiny new bolts and dozens of coiled orange ropes suggests the potential for wrapping the whole thing up in a mesh.
