Anyone had them done recently?

Thought I'd seize the opportunity to get a couple of pairs resoled while my back's out of action....some old stingers(need toe patch too) and some X-cubes.

Feet first....is the postage quoted per pair?

Cheshire resoles.....seem more reasonable but what's the quality like?

How long will they take?

Any recommendations on the rubber.

Ideally I'd like them to enable me to climb a few grades harder when I get back .....dream on!

In reply to Removed User: i like the megabite from feet first in chesterfield, there is also a place in woodseats (also feet first) always had a good job back from them, mot a bad price either

In reply to Removed User:I had my stingers resoled with 5.10 by cheshire resoles, they lost some stiffness, but overall they're better than they were when new. I've also had some dos equis and la sportivas resoled, the results weren't as good - loss of stiffness/shape, but they're still a usable warm up/wall boot. They always seem to stick too big a sole on, I used plane to change the profile around the toe, this improved the sensitivity and edging, and hasn't affected the longevity of the rubber.

I had mine done by Cheshire last week. Worn them once since, seem as good as new. The second time that pair's been done, I've also had my 'spare' pair resoled by them.
Usually, if you send them 1st class on a Monday, you'll get them back by the weekend.

Had a couple of pairs done last week, they are as good as ever.
Had a number of pairs done previously. But Cheshire shoes is the best IMHO, Feet First they delaminated after about a fortnight
