Tying up a rope in an indoor wall

What is the name of the way you tie up ropes on an indoor wall so you can pull the end of the rope and the long almost braid like thing comes undone?

Watch out for "false" daisy-chains, tied up by the uneducated into far more complex knots, in the mistaken belief that they are being helpful. These take somewhat at longer to untie and are the bane of wall staff's lives

In reply to Jamie B: I've never quite managed to see exactly how they get it wrong to show them otherwise... I've watched them and it looks the same but then they somehow get it looped through and it won't come undone.
