hi
I'm probably off to the French Jura in Februry for some cross country skiing. Does anyone know if there is any ice climbing in that area?

Thanks

In reply to phizz4: I'm assuming that as it is a limestone area there might be low level waterfalls that freeze up.

Have a look at the Herrison waterfalls near to the Lac du Chalain near to Doucier, the falls go on for ever, you can drive to the top of the falls and bottom of the falls. Might be worth a look.

In reply to phizz4: Thanks for the ideas. The mixed climbing is just a tad too hard for us (by a loooong way!) We are going by car so it might be worth throwing a bit of gear in if the previous weather looks to have been cold enough.
