WINNERS: Alex Cook, Keith Daniels, Joanna Smith
Black Diamond ambassadors Rahel Schelb and Felicitas Feller have just returned from a successful trip climbing new routes in Li Ming, China. We are giving you the chance to win the equipment they trusted while discovering new sectors.
“Crack climbing comes with chafed or even bloody hands, painful feet, fear, chafed knees, everything hurts, but in the end it's just the most exciting thing to do!" said Rahel and Felicitas. Li Ming, situated in the southwest of China, is 2400 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by wooded hillsides, from which rock walls are rising, shimmering in various shades of red, black and grey. Here you find everything: Fine finger cracks running up massive, overhanging pinnacles and perfect hand cracks, that aren't world famous, solely because hardly anybody has climbed them yet.
Here's a couple of the hand drawn topos from new routes climbed whilst out in the area:
Here's some of the equipment they used whilst putting up the routes, as well as the prizes that we're giving away:

A highly flexible windproof layer designed for cold, fast-paced days in the mountains and the days of training to get fit, the Black Diamond Flow State Jacket is all about perpetual motion.
