Quickdraws should be safe, light, durable and ergonomic. The Hawk QD Zoom quickdraws designed by Ocún have all of these qualities. They consist of two Hawk carabiners and a PA sling. To achieve the best strength characteristics, optimal shape and lightness, both carabiners were hot forged. Their strength is: 25 kN lengthways with closed gate, 9 kN in width and 9 kN lengthways with open gate. The strength of the whole quickdraw is 22 kN.

Hawk quickdraws offer especially smooth handling thanks to the new design of the Hawk carabiners - they have a keylock nose and subtle 3D features to fit nicely in your hand and make rope clipping very easy. The top carabiner has a straight gate and the bottom one has a bent gate.

The PA sling is durable and optimally wide to fit comfortably in your hand - it is convenient when grabbing the quickdraws during long sessions on hard routes.

Ocún offers Hawk QD Zoom in standard (12cm) and extended length (16cm) and in two colours (red, blue). You may appreciate the extended version for longer routes where rope drag is an issue.
