Rainbow Rocket is looking for a Head Coach to manage our coaching programme, lead our junior competition squad and mentor staff on coaching / instruction.
This is an exciting role with a wide scope to build a full coaching programme, including Juniors.
You will work alongside the Centre Manager and Deputy Centre Manager with full responsibility to deliver Rainbow Rocket's coaching programme.
This is a full-time role, a part-time (2 or 3 days per week) option may be considered for the right candidate. The role includes shifts as Duty Manager at the centre, responsible for the centre on a day-to-day basis.
We plan to launch a Junior Squad which will be selective and aimed at helping dedicated young climbers to progress and to enter local and regional competitions (e.g. YCS / Blokfest).
Rainbow Rocket is Cambridge's only dedicated bouldering centre. We have been open since January and have built a community of climbers around our centre. We have worked with leading coaches and route-setters (Gaz Parry, Ben West, Max Ayrton and Gracie Martin amongst others) to create the best centre possible.
