The Climbers Shop 60th Anniversary competition - Nuts of Legends - has come to an end. Congratulations to Mr A Joynson who is the lucky winner of our very special signed image of Scafell by W Heaton-Cooper.
We have had a fantastic summer meeting climbers out and about at crags, hinting where they might find some treasure and seeing the great pictures that you have been sharing of our limited edition 60th Anniversary DMM Torque nuts. Thank you too for all your lovely messages of thanks.
A massive thank you to our sponsors at Scarpa, DMM, UKClimbing.com and to the Fell and Rock Climbing Club and the Heaton Cooper Studio for helping us have so much fun celebrating our anniversary! And of course to our Legends too for taking the time to sign the Scafell image: Sir Chris Bonington, Doug Scott, Joe Brown, Julian Cooper, Leo Houlding, James McHaffie, Emma Twyford and Dave Birkett.
Not lucky enough to find a nut? Our Centurion Walking challenge is still open all the way through until 31st December. All you need to do is summit the three highest peaks in the Lakes: Scafell, Skiddaw and Hellvellyn covering 100 miles on the ground. You can do it in a oner or you can do it over a month – the route, technicality and time frame are yours to choose. All Centurions will receive a 60th Anniversary badge and entry into a draw to win an extremely rare Lake District £10 note signed by Sir Chris Bonington. Details here.
