Boulder Shack is looking for a Café Manager to join our team!
We are a community focused climbing gym with a brand new café that needs a highly motivated and dynamic leader to ensure it lives up to its true potential. We are looking for someone who would relish the opportunity to really make this their own.
Before the current Coronavirus Pandemic, we'd invested time and money to convert our old kitchen (a broom cupboard) into a thriving kitchen that is able to deliver an exciting menu to satisfy both climbers and non-climbers alike. The building project is nearing completion, and we are getting ready to open to the world post-lockdown.
You will be responsible for:
- Re-launching our Café to offer an improved range and quality of products, including the potential to extend our reach via popular takeaway platforms.
- Providing professional Customer Service.
- Day to day management of the Café, including Menu development, Health & Safety and Hygiene Standards, Stock Management and Managing Relationships with our Suppliers.
- Effective team leadership and development of employees in their Café duties.
- Daily food preparation.

Proposed Salary: £18- 21k (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shifts will include Evenings, Weekends and Bank Holidays.
