Salary: 20 - 24k pro-rata (depending on experience)

Holiday: 29 days pro-rata

Working Hours: Flexible

Overview

The “Flashpoint Group” currently consists of 3 climbing walls and 2 trampoline parks. Namely Redpoint Bristol, Flashpoint Bristol & Swindon and Freedog Bristol & Swindon. As a group we are aiming to create friendly, welcoming and professional climbing and kids activity centre’s. We strive to ensure that our team enjoy their work, as we know that a happy team translates to happy customers. 

We have big plans for this year and we are looking for someone who is psyched to shout about it!

You will be responsible for creating content across all our sites including multiple climbing walls and trampoline parks. 

You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure content is created in time to promote the seasonal events through the year for each site.

You will create content in the form of photography, film, graphic design and engaging copywriting. 

You will be allocated a “social media assistant” in each site who will need your support and management. With their help you will ensure a regular stream of engaging content to keep our customers entertained and up to date on events and services. 

(Social Media Assistants will employed on a part-time basis of a few hours per week)

 

Job Description

Create Content

Create and circulate quality content for all the companies in the “Flashpoint Group”.

This includes film-making, photography, graphic design and copywriting.

Regular Social Media Posting

Ensure regular (twice a week minimum) posts to our social media channels of engaging, on brand content. This currently is made up of 5 facebook pages and 5 instagram pages, though this may expand or contract depending on future strategies. 

Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure that important annual events are promoted alongside general communications and engagement.

Answering Queries

Ensure that queries coming in via the social media channels are answered in a timely and professional manner. 

Manage your “Social Media Assistants”

Part-time social media assistants will be allocated to you to help in the running of our various channels. You must take responsibility for their work and provide them with direction, support, guidance and resources to complete their role well. 

Leaflets / Posters

Create posters and leaflets as required by the sites to promote our products and services. These must be kept on brand to keep a consistent feel across the sites. 

Marketing Strategy

Assist the Marketing Manager in creating and implementing a marketing strategy across all the sites.  

Events

Assist in the creation, implementation and marketing of events. You will be expected to attend the majority of our events in order to assist with their smooth running and promotion. 
 

Essential Experience

  • A passion for climbing
  • A passion for creating engaging social media content
  • Photography skills
  • Film making experience
  • Graphic design skills
  • Copywriting experience

 

Desirable Experience

  • Management experience
  • Marketing qualifications or CPD
  • Proven experience of increasing engagement on a social media channel
