Instructional Manager based in Sheffield at the Foundry Climbing Centre

Salary:

£24,000 per annum. 4 weeks Annual Leave

Contract 

12 Month Contract. 40 hours a week with flexible working split between Management of business and hands on Instruction/coaching.

The Candidate

 We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to manage our instructional business. The role will suit an individual who is looking to take a successful business model and develop it to fit a challenging marketplace.

The individual will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

• RCI Instructional qualification (and BMC recognised Coaching Qualifications).
• First Aid Qualification.
• Personally, well organised and have a good attention to detail and time keeping.
• Good IT skills and able to write professional emails.
• Comfortable with maintain cashflow and financial data sheets.
• Good verbal communication and dealing with customer enquires
• Experience of managing health and safety in an internal or external climbing environment.
• Ability to update and create new Standard Operating Procedures
• A willingness to be flexible with working patterns working evening and weekends
• Ideally have access to transport and a have a clean driving licence.
• Hold an enhanced DBS.

Job Roles:

• Overview of health and safety, instructor checks and observations, kit checks, insurance, AALA license and managing up to date consent forms.
• Manage and develop Customer Relationships, bookings and take ownership of the bookings calendar
• Management of Self Employed Instructors and service contracts.
• Overview of finances, invoicing and paying instructors
• Product development
• Marketing, promoting products through social media
• Reporting to the company director
• Liaising with FMC Club Development & Service Manager
