About us
We've been bringing London’s climbers together since the late eighties. Mile End Climbing Wall is housed inside and old pipe engineering works, located within Mile End Park and sitting right next to Regent’s Canal. We’re non-profit, independent and have an amazing community of staff and customers.

There is extensive bouldering at all levels – including the legendary Board Room, Monkey House and Mile End Comp Wall – as well as top-roping, autobelays and lead climbing.

We cater for the complete novice through to the seasoned professional offering a range of courses on and off site. The centre has hosted many climbing events over the years, including Blokfest, Tour Du Bloc, and Team GB training sessions to name just a few. We recently launched She Climbs, featuring an all-female route setting team – one of the first events of its kind.

This is an amazing time to join us as we push forward with several exciting new projects, including the installation of an all-new training and gym area, as well as a renewed focus on our charitable ethos to make climbing inclusive for all.

Safeguarding
Much of our work is with children and adults at risk of abuse and as such we follow rigorous child protection policies and procedures in our recruitment process.
