Join Our Team as a Senior Climbing Instructor, £25,642 rising annually to £27,929 - Full Time, Permanent.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our growing climbing team. You will work a varying pattern of shifts, which will require evening and weekend work.

If you are interested in a career in sport and leisure, Oxford Brookes Sport also has fantastic training programmes that can lead to management positions, with a real focus on individual development and mentorship.

The candidate:

  • Should have extensive experience working in an indoor climbing centre
  • Hold the Climbing Wall Instructor Award or Rock Climbing Instructor Award
  • Hold the Climbing Wall Development Instructor Award and Foundation Coach Award or equivalent
  • Have a wide knowledge and understanding of the NICAS syllabus
  • Must be passionate about great customer service
  • Must be willing to work a flexible shift pattern including evenings and weekends
  • Should understand relevant health and safety legislation
  • Should have excellent verbal communication skills
  • Should have confidence and an approachable nature
