Due to our much-loved setter Willow leaving our in-house setting team, an amazing opportunity has opened up for a budding new route setter at our bouldering centre.

We are on the lookout for a new member to add to the setting team; bringing a different style, fresh vibrant ideas and experience to complement the skills of our team.

Our customer base is diverse and inclusive. The ideal candidate will have an open mind and be dedicated to providing exciting, stimulating route setting for our whole community.

Throughout the year we set on a variety of climbing wall zones as well as our renowned one-day comp 'The Lab Test'. We also set for other special events such as our legendary UV Halloween party and Winter Series comp.

Being mindful of safety, having great time management skills and being open to constructive feedback are essential characteristics to ensure the best customer experience for our amazing community. 

Our team is a friendly, supportive and nurturing environment. Good communication skills, a passion for personal development and a commitment to help the team succeed are highly desirable qualities that we value.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year experience in route setting. Any additional experience gained in courses and workshops will also be considered.

We have 15-20 hours available per week for route setting and additional front-of-house/coaching shifts available. We can be flexible with hours for the right candidate.
