ABOUT STRONGHOLD 

Stronghold began in Tottenham Hale and has established strong roots within this part of North London. We work closely with schools and groups in the area and pride ourselves on the community we have built over the last six years.  

During lockdown we moved our Tottenham Hale site to the Archives building and built our second, fully air-conditioned site next to the canal at London Fields. Wall layouts designed by Jason Kehl, founder of cryptochild holds, create a unique and innovative climbing experience in the heart of east London. 

Whether climbing at Tottenham Hale or London Fields, Stronghold is a fantastic bouldering centre with a friendly team and exceptional route setting.  

We need someone that is passionate communicator who will lead by example and continue to build on the exceptional customer service. We are now looking for the right person to help shift lead the team. 

THE IDEAL PERSON 

Ideally, the right candidate will have experience in the climbing wall / leisure industry, be an excellent communicator and have experience managing a team. They would be highly motivated, professional and able to adapt to any issues that may arise with both customers and staff. Although not essential, an understanding of Rock Gym Pro would be desirable.  

THE ROLE 

As Shift Manager you would be responsible for overseeing effective and safe daily operations within Stronghold, ensuring all relevant checklists, forms and procedures are being used appropriately. You will work closely with senior management and communicate any issues and potential scope for improvements, with maximising employee productivity and efficiency of process being a priority. You will be expected to stay up to date with organisational changes and any operating systems used by Stronghold. The role will require you to make daily operational decisions to facilitate the smooth running of the centre.
