Our aim is to create a welcoming and inclusive meeting place where the local community can get together, have fun, and share their passion for climbing.

The centre will house an exceptional bouldering facility, small retail area, a fully equipped gym / training area, and café-bar overlooking the climbing area.

To make this place as awesome as we want it to be, we need the right crew on board to help us make that happen.

Centre Manage - Role Overview

Our Centre Manager will play an integral role in the centre and be one of the biggest contributors to the success and growth of the business. You will form part of the senior management team, and report directly to the directors. Our CM will lead with pride and inspire the entire Rhino Team by taking a hands-on approach in ensuring the highest level of service is relentlessly maintained in all areas the business.

One of your biggest responsibilities will be to promote a good atmosphere in the centre for both the staff and the community to enjoy.

You will be responsible for managing all operations in the centre and will help us build and drive a team capable of upholding our company values and high standards throughout.

The CM will be the face of Rhino and will be a key reference point for all visitors and staff. You will be required oversee the training of the staff to ensure the team is knowledgeable and confident in all operations in the centre.

The position will be permanent and full time - 40 hours per week and will require flexible working to ensure all business needs are met. This will include daytime, and some evening, and weekend shifts.

 

Duty Manager - Role Overview

As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of the centre. One of your biggest responsibilities will be to promote a good atmosphere in the centre for both the staff and the community to enjoy.

You will be required to run the show when needed, ensuring all safety standards are met, and inspiring the team by providing all our visitors with a great service in the climbing centre as well as in the café. At Rhino, we put the emphasis on being an all-rounder, so you can assist other team members in helping our customers regardless of what they’re needs are.

We are looking for someone who is up for a challenge!

The Duty Manager is also a key reference point for all staff and visitors, and full training will be provided to ensure you are knowledgeable and confident in all operations in the centre.

The position will be permanent, with a minimum of 30 hours per week, with daytime, evening and weekend shifts required.

 

Rhino Team Member - Role Overview

As part of the Rhino Team, you will play a key role in supporting the Centre Management with the day to day running of the centre. One of your biggest responsibilities will be to promote a good atmosphere in the centre for fellow team members and the community to enjoy.

Our Rhino team members will be the first point of contact for the visiting customers in our centre, and you will be required to provide an excellent customer experience and uphold our high standards throughout. You will be assisting the management team with a range of tasks throughout the centre.

You will work together with the team to help ensure all safety standards are met and provide all our visitors with a great service in the climbing centre as well as in the cafe. It’s a varied role, and we promise you’ll never get bored!

Full training will be given to ensure you are knowledgeable and confident in all operations in the centre.

We have both casual and permanent position available, with contracts / commitments ranging from zero hours per week up to full time (40 hours), with daytime, evening and weekend shifts required for all the above.

 

Climbing Coach - Role Overview

Our long-term goal is to put together a coaching team, capable of delivering one of the best coaching programs in the country.

The  aim is to provide fun and engaging learning experiences in a safe and friendly environment. We will be offering a range of instructed sessions for all ages and abilities, from entry-level skills to elite level performance coaching. We will build a reputation where anyone attending a session can expect the delivery to be on point!

Full in-house training will be provided to ensure you are knowledgeable and confident in delivering the highest quality sessions. We will also support you in obtaining official coaching / instructing qualifications through the BMC / Mountain Training Association.

We have both casual and permanent position available, with daytime, evening and weekend shifts required for all the above.
