The University of Liverpool are seeking to employ a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual in the role of Climbing Wall Supervisor.

Sport Liverpool delivers the non-academic sporting offer across the University. We are responsible for sports facilities, the sports scholarship programme, Athletic Union sports clubs, sport and physical activity participation programmes and outreach initiatives within the University community.

We are seeking a highly motivated climbing wall supervisor who is passionate about our members needs and can contribute to the on-going success of Sport Liverpool. This role is about delivering exceptional service with an emphasis on key areas including the effective leadership and development of climbing wall staff, health and safety compliance, business performance and continuous improvement.

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the bouldering and climbing walls, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all users.

You will need to be a confident communicator with ability to work effectively as part of the supervisory team and colleagues within Sport Liverpool and the wider University.

Reporting to the Sports Operations Manager you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the University of Liverpool Active Campus Strategy.

You should have a Climbing Wall Instructor qualification (CWI) and previous experience in a climbing related role, including the supervision of staff.

Salary: £27,980 - £32,233 pa plus shift allowance
