Introducing Exposure Photography Festival, a celebration of photography, climbing history, and learning in the heart of the Sheffield! Over the course of three days, the festival will bring together photographers, adventurers, and outdoor enthusiasts for a series of dynamic workshops, inspiring talks, and hands-on experiences. From mastering the basics of photography to capturing breathtaking shots from a rope, the festival offers something for everyone, whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting your journey. Join us for an unforgettable experience!

Gallery Space

The festival kicks off on Friday, September 6th, with an open gallery, showcasing a stunning array of photographic talent. The gallery will be open all weekend, from 7:00 PM on Friday until 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 8th. The gallery will feature 7 exhibitors of varying style and backgrounds to create a truly stunning array of images. 

Workshops

Starting Saturday morning, immerse yourself in our diverse lineup of workshops! From quick, hour-long sessions to full day experiences, there's something for everyone. Workshops will be individually ticketed, allowing you to choose what suits your interests and schedule.

Saturday Night

On Saturday night, there will be an inspiring evening of presentations and talks. The talks will vary from tales and stories from Kyrgyzstan with Will Rupp and Jim Pope who will discuss their experience of documenting their own big wall trip to the work of Hamish Frost who specialises in more of the commercial world of climbing photography. We will cover the journey of climbing photography from over the years and how it has evolved before finishing up a conversation with Lena Drapella on the Olympics and how her career has progressed over the last few years. There will be plenty of beer and food available from Icarus and Apollo who will be on site from 6:30. 

This festival is an unmissable event for photography professionals, hobbyists & climbing enthusiasts. Book your tickets and prepare to be inspired. 

Ticketing

Workshop - Each of the workshops on offer are individually priced and ticketed. To join you will need a ticket specific to that workshop.

Gallery - To access the main gallery space and hub for the festival you will need a weekend gallery ticket. This is a one time payment and grants you  access to the site for the whole weekend. To launch the festival and gallery space there will be a relaxed evening on the evening of Friday the 6th. This will be the perfect opportunity to see some of the amazing work on display, grab a beer and chat amongst everybody. Again this event is individually ticketed, however it does include your weekend gallery ticket. 

Talks - The evening of talks on Saturday the 7th will also be individually ticketed and therefore not included in our Weekend Gallery Ticket.
