Climbing Coach

As a coach, you will be central to delivering a first-class climbing experience.

You will work closely with the head coach, especially during academy hours, where you'll focus on teaching kids lead climbing and belaying techniques. Alongside this, you'll support movement analysis, helping to prepare the academy team for national-level competitions.  Strong instructional skills, particularly around safety, are key to your role.

Your work will include coaching sessions for beginners and experienced climbers alike, youth squad training, and one-on-one lessons. You'll also help manage session bookings and ensure adequate staffing.

Roped Wall Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as a Roped Wall Assistant at BIG Depot Manchester.

Scheduled to open in late Autumn, this state-of-the-art facility will feature extensive roped climbing, bouldering areas, a fully equipped gym, yoga studio, café, remote working spaces, and a comprehensive climbing shop.

As a Roped Wall Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre, providing exceptional customer service, and fostering a welcoming community for climbers of all levels.
