About:

boulder is the first indoor climbing gym in Qatar, with its inaugural location in a sweet spot at Sports City. With boulder we're building a culture of climbing, giving expats and Qataris alike an opportunity to enjoy bouldering and grow their climbing abilities with us. We have 280 sqm of climbing wall going up, and we're looking for key staff to lead the charge, set the standard, and bring a colourful, affable, and magnetic approach to the place. 

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Centre Manager, you will be the heartbeat of boulder, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and success of our facility. Key duties will include:

Daily Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the bouldering wall, managing staff and ensuring top-notch customer service.

Team Development: Mentoring and developing both individuals and the team as a whole, fostering a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Staff Management: Managing rota and shift patterns, ensuring staff wellbeing, and maintaining a motivated and efficient team.

Business Growth: Setting and implementing targets across all aspects of the business to drive growth and excellence.

Customer Relations: Upholding exceptional customer relations, handling inquiries, and resolving any service issues promptly.

Community Engagement: Building strong relationships with suppliers, local businesses and the community to enhance our presence and reputation.

Leadership: Liaise with the CEO on hiring, content approaches, pricing, promotions, team-building, and marketing strategies.

We are seeking an experienced or up-and-coming leader with a background at great gyms in the UK who brings a colourful and positive approach to both work and play. You'll play a crucial part in running the show, developing climbers, growing the sport, and leading our inaugural bouldering location to success.
