On 28th February and 1st March, Manchester Climbing Centre will be hosting the Climb Everest Challenge in aid of the Five Stars appeal. This charity aims to raise £1 million for a vital scanner for the New Childrens Hospital in Manchester. The event will consist of teams battling it out to climb the highest, while attempting between them to equal the height of Everest. This event forms part of the Manchester Festival of Climbing, running all weekend and including competitions, Evolv boot demos, kids events, and a lecture from Chris Sharma. This weekend is being held in partnership with Evolv, Prana and Metolius who will be providing prizes throughout the weekend!
