We're Hiring: Chief Route Setter & In-House Route Setter

Location: Redpoint & Flashpoint Bristol
Contract: Part-time (3 days/week: Mon–Wed)
Start Date: August/September (or as soon as possible)

Impact Route Setting is hiring two key roles to help shape the climbing experience across Redpoint and Flashpoint Bristol. If you're a passionate setter looking to lead, grow, and be part of a supportive and experienced team, we want to hear from you!

1. Chief Route Setter

Salary: £33,000–£35,000 pro-rata (DOE)

Lead from the front as Chief Route Setter, coordinating the setting team across both centres. You'll take charge of day-to-day operations, maintain high-quality setting standards, and mentor our Assistant Setters. A great opportunity for an experienced setter ready to step into a leadership role.

Highlights:

2. In-House Route Setter

Salary: £30,000–£32,000 pro-rata (DOE)

Work as a core part of our in-house setting team, helping deliver exceptional boulders and routes. Collaborate closely with our Chief and Directors to bring creativity, quality, and consistency to every setting day.
