Climber magazine is back bigger than ever this month with a fantastic new look all packed into more pages.

The all-new Climber retains the popular glossy finish to best show off the stunning photography but goes to a new format, which allows us to bring you eight extra pages every month of the best crag guides, destination features, interviews, training, skills and gear reviews. We have also overhauled the design of the magazine and masthead to give it a cleaner, fresher look.

In this issue of the magazine top BASE-jumping adventure climber Tim Emmett is 'avin it in his first exclusive column for Climber, giving the inside story and pics on the televised live BBC Great Climb with Dave MacLeod.

The November issue also features a first-timer's guide to the world's most famous bouldering venue Fontainebleau, the top 10 mistakes climbers make, a backpackers guide to sport climbing off the beaten track in Laos, training with Leah Crane, bouldering in the Churnet Valley, an interview with Lucy Creamer and a review of the best soft shell jackets plus all your favourite regulars.

WIN KMF Tickets and free Metolius Portable Power Grips for new subscribers

Our competition this issue offers readers the chance to win a 2 day film pass worth £36 to Kendal Mountain Festival, an event of which Climber is a proud sponsor. We also have free Metolius Portable Power Grips worth £25 to giveaway to new subscribers signing up this month.*

Climber Book Club

We're also excited to announce the launch of the Climber Book Club for the magazine's readers to share their verdicts on the latest climbing, mountaineering and outdoors literature. It's free to join the Book Club and we'll send readers the latest books in return for them writing a short review that will appear on the www.climber.co.uk website.

The only thing that hasn't changed on Climber Magazine is our commitment to cater for ALL climbers whether you're just starting out or climb hard - we're not snobbish or elitist and we remember what it was like taking those first exciting steps.

Pick up a copy of the all-new Climber Magazine at all major newsagents, outdoor retailers, supermarkets and climbing walls. Or you can subscribe or buy directly from us.
