Wall building vacancies in North Wales

Beacon Climbing Walls in North Wales are currently recruting new staff for their climbing wall building team. The posts will be full time and we are expecting to to be offering a mix of permanent and temporary (6 month) contracts.

Senior wall building technicians
Involves day to day project management responsibilities for the design & fabrication of our multifaceted climbing walls as well as hands on fabrication & installation work. The position will be based mainly in our Caernarfon workshop although there will be some away work with the installation of climbing walls around the UK. Previous wall building experience working to a high standard is essential.

Wall building technicians
Involves the day to day fabrication of our multifaceted plywood walls - work is based mainly in our Caernarfon workshop although there will be some away work with the installation of climbing walls around the UK.

Successful applicants for either post will have:
An active interest in climbing
Excellent practical skills
Experience with a variety of power tools
An enthusiastic approach with good attention to detail

Other useful attributes:
Previous wall building experience
Experience of spray painting and coatings
A working knowledge of a 3-dimensional modelling software
Experience of using a CNC machine
Welding experience/qualifications
