Since our relaunch event in November 2011 our new facilites have been drawing the crowds right through the winter season and we haven't stopped yet. We have a fantastic line up of events coming up over the next couple of months that will ensure we have something for everyone.

So what have we got in store?

A chance to come down and try out the new Boreal Climbing Shoes; the Kintaro, Kintaro women's and Lynx with the new BOREAL ZENITH RUBBER.

29th January: BMC National Academy

We are proudly hosting the second of two full day workshops for selected talented young climbers from the North.

31st January for 5 WEEKS: Our In House ROPE LADDER

With routes from F4 to F7a, points for flash, redpoint or toprope; it's a great way to get motivated and fit for your next sport trip. Fab Prizes from Lyon Equipment and Marmot UK for winners and a prize draw.

31st January – 15th February: BMC Leading Ladder Round

With points for the flash and subsequent lead attempts, complete a minimum of 3 rounds at participating climbing walls around the country to be in with a chance of making it through to the grand final.

3rd and 4th March: BMC Lead Team Meet and Selection

Kendal Wall will see the best British climbers put to the test on our fantastic comp wall to see if they can make the national team.

Monday 19th March: BMC Movement Master Class

National Coach Naomi Buys is running a discounted master class for climbers currently climbing 5+ to 6b. Booking through the BMC Website at www.thebmc.co.uk.

Tuesday 27th March: Kendal Wall Bouldering Ladder and Rope Ladder Prize Giving

Prize giving ceromony for the category winners and our famous prize draw.

Saturday 21st April: BMC Youth Climbing Series

We are proudly hosting a round of this ever growing competition for young people, with various age categories competing in bouldering, top roping and leading this will be a great event to show the national climbing community the fantastic facility we have built.

VIDEO: Size Does Matter

Here at Kendal Wall we pride ourselves on providing a variety of indoor climbing with all angles of climbing on our huge lead walls (and some short ones) and the new Marmot Loft Bouldering Area. The key to our operation is ensuring we have a high turnover of routes and and problems from national and local setters. With specific low reach climbing problems and routes we ensure that although our walls are tall, height should never be an issue.
