This April, Outside and La Sportiva are planning a packed weekend devoted to all things climb and run. 

With guest appearances from Adam Ondra, Neil Gresham and more, prize draws, rock shoe clinics, guided runs and great deals on gear – there’s so much going on we’ve had to award one day to rock climbers and one day to runners just to keep a handle on it all.

Saturday 26th April

Meet Adam Ondra

10.00 – 11.30 

Adam Ondra will be in-store to say hi and sign posters. After that he’ll be going out to sample the local grit with Neil Gresham, thereby finally answering the perennial ukclimbing forum question “yeah, but what has he done on grit?”

La Sportiva's Pietro dal Pra will be running rock shoe clinics in-store.

All day Saturday

Try out La Sportiva rock climbing shoes! A full range of demo shoes will be available for you to take out and sample.

Evening lectures (tickets available in-store on the day: £8 with all proceeds going to Edale MRT) to include refreshments

Adam and Neil will be lecturing at the Outside Café after store closing.

Take your training to the next level - trail running lectures and guided runs organised by Outside and La Sportiva. Book online (coming soon) for your place - just £5 entry to include:

9.30 – 10.30 

Talk from ultra runner James Elson from Team Centurion on what to take and how to prepare for long distance runs.

11.00 – 12.00

Try out a pair of La Sportiva demo trail running shoes.

12.00 – 16.00 

Choose from a 10k, 10 mile or 20 mile guided run with La Sportiva athletes. There will be 15 places per route available (routes tbc).

All day Sunday
