Bouldering Centre Manager, Recep / Instructors

Contract: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours plus per week) 

Salary: £18,000  - 20,000 dependent on experience

The Centre Manager responsibilities include: 

  • Effective daily running of the climbing centre
  • Managing a team of staff to help them provide a safe customer experience 
  • Overseeing health and safety kept to the highest standards 
  • Staff training and monitoring 
  • Organizing the diary for visits and school groups effectively 
  • Dealing with First Aid responsibilities 


What we are looking for.  

Essentials:

  • Managerial Experience 
  • A keen and regular climber 
  • Hold the CWA award as a minimum 
  • Experience working in a climbing wall 
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers and motivating staff 
  • First Aid trained and able to deal with incidents confidently 
  • Superb organizational skills 
  • Remains upbeat and happy 


Desirables: 

  • Route setting experience 
  • Attended Fundamentals Courses 1-3 
  • NIBAS experience 


We are also looking for energetic Receptionists with CWA, IT and First Aid skills. As well as experienced Instructors with CWA and possible NIBAS experience.
