Equip Outdoor Technologies UK Ltd based in Alfreton, Derbyshire specialise in the design and marketing of technical outdoor clothing and equipment. Our experienced and enthusiastic team develop innovative designs, manufactured to the highest standard and brought to market throughout the world.

The Equip Head Office is based just outside The Peak District National Park off jct28 of the M1 corridor. The Rab UK Warranty Repair service centre based at the head office for is predominantly responsible for all UK warranty and repair issues along with a smaller element of liaising with an International agent/distributor and retailer base.

We are looking for a hardworking, passionate retail specialist to work with the Warranty Returns Supervisor, to deliver excellent levels of retailer and end consumer customer service by telephone and email on Lowe Alpine and Rab warranty and return issues

Key responsibilities:

• Look after all aspects of the factory shop, including stock rotation, stock control merchandising and reporting
• Represent the company in a positive way. Promoting our brands, products and services
• Generate sales opportunities by working to build customer preference for the brands
• Administer product returns (exchange, repair, refund)
• Liaison between customers and our Alfreton based factory regarding repairs
• To competently handle consumer questions regarding the Rab and Lowe Alpine product ranges and deliver product advice and suggest suitable kit lists for activities
• Processing invoices and credits on our Microsoft Dynamics system (full training given)
• To ensure that service standards are exceptional at all times

Competencies:

Essential
• Outdoor Retail Experience
• A passion for the outdoors and using clothing and kit in a variety of conditions
• Be customer focused
• A confident telephone manner along with excellent communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines, with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
• Team commitment

Desirable
• Experience of using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Previous experience dealing with warranty returns
