A comprehensive rock climbing guide to the Eastern Valais. Snow and ice climbs are not included. Most of the climbing described is bolted, in all the guide covers around 2000 routes, with over 250 multi pitch lines at 99 different crags (many not currently in the UKC database). The guide covers Rhone valley crags around Brig and Visp as well as the Zermatt and Saas valleys and Simplon Pass area.

The guide is dual language (German and English) and easy to follow. Topos are almost all black and White photos with numbered routes marked in red. Some colour action photos are also included. 351 pages with crag index/route stats section and area map/key to symbols on the endpapers.
