Rockfax Description
The tough and dirty wide crack behind where the mighty sycamore once grew gives awkward moves to ledges. The steep shallow groove just right gives a nice finish. © Rockfax

Some of the loose blocks at the bottom of the chimney fell out (before I even got on the route).

The chimney is green, but more worryingly full of now loose chockstones. Thus no trustworthy gear and loose blocks which could hit the belayer / damage the rope. These need removing and it needs a clean. At that point the chimney will be left as quite a difficult climb. We only managed it by briefly escaping round onto the HVS 5a to the left. Above the chimney, it's ok.
