Rockfax Description
The magnificent and unmistakable central arete of the quarry still sees few ascents. The boulder problem start on the left (f7A+) needs a lot of padding to be made safe. The upper section is a bit easier and needs small gear. © Rockfax

James Oakes 10 May, 2018 Lead G/U Took about 20 goes to get off the ground, then jumped off just before the jug, did it next go. A few pads and a couple of handy pallets to level the landing.

Andy Moles 23 Mar, 2018 Lead RP Pre-placed some micro wires to protect the start. Also found a couple of pallets lying around in the quarry, which was handy for levelling the landing.

ferdia 22 Mar, 2018 Lead dnf Toproped a couple of times then fell from the last hard move high up on the arete. Lower half felt scary with just one mat despite preplaced rps.

The old James turnbull 2 Oct, 2017 Lead RP Always hoped I'd have a go at onsight/ground uping this. However the state it was in made it impossible. It's now as clean as it's likely to get. Good job didn't try onsight, hard start! Awesome though. Go try it while it's clean (ish)

dannyboy83 4 Nov, 2014 Lead RP Stunning route, shame it's getting a tad dirty. Good boulder problem, into easy climbing, then one annoyingly hard move high up past the peg.
