The superb left arĂȘte of the boulder. A worthy companion to Devon Sent.

Took ages. Six sessions maybe. Best problem I've done on Devon granite so far. Not sure I agree with the sharp comments. As it goes for these parts, i thought fairly skin friendly. Harder than the other classic 7a+ locally (dancing queen, Easdon arête, slotted wall), maybe 7b. Or maybe I was just being a wimp on the last move. Dixie not as good at spotting as she makes out.

Real close, but no cigar. Pretty greasy unfortunately, crisp conditions would make a big difference.

Two words; hard and sharp!! Struggled to work out what to do initially, then struggled to get sidepull around the arete before skin got too thin. Really psyched to come back for this. Maybe on Wednesday? Though feels unlikely that I will get it done! Another classic Dartmoor granite sandbag! It's lucky a good line and the climbing is interesting!

Great looking line, could hardly leave the starting block-will be back!

Got to be one of the best 7a+ highballs in the UK: great line, great climbing, and great location.

So close, yet so far. By the time I figured out the correct sequence my skin had completely given way.
