Rockfax Description
A great old-school E5; sloping holds, bags of exposure, a long run-out, awkward-to-clip old gear, but ultimately safe (just tell anyone below to look out.) From the top of Ceramic, pull over the bulge and traverse right with difficulty past a peg until, at last, decent holds and easier climbing arrive. Absolutely superb. © Rockfax

βeta: From memory (1988) the key to this route is clipping the tat on the peg. Get that right foot up on a decent hold before stretching right to clip the peg - felt like the crux to me. The upper section was quite pokey as the wires looked as though they might lift out. Apparently in situ threads nowadays so would feel much safer | ||
