2864m. Slovenian grade of "Zelo zahtevna" very demanding. Via Ferrata kit recommended.

mysterion 15 Sep - My first via ferrata. After a bit of easy scrambling and easy VF the route emerges through a notch onto a face and begins to feel very committing with lots of twists and turns in serious positions. Turned a corner and surprised a chamois and fawn (Zlatorog?) before emerging onto Prag route, completely missing the spring (on the left) even though I had run out of water, then on up across what looked like a high level desert to Kredarica Hut. Did Triglav and return the next day, seemed a bit easier with lots of company and like Tominskova Pot Route it seemed well protected except for the bits that weren't (some rising corners). For future comparison the German VF grade seems to be 3.5C

Tom Redwood 25 Jun - Done in decent. Just one sketchy bit where the VF cables were under a snow slope for 15m so I had to kick steps in for the others plus made a few handholds.

tomhardie 21 Jun Solo O/S Used as ascent and completed in 1 day, stopping at the hut for lunch after summitting - some loose rock, rockfall and objective hazard. Climb itself very easy, often not needing cables, although consequence of fall high.
