Goodstuff 9 Mar Lead O/S Led the main pitch, fantastic technical and well-protected climbing. We then continued up the ridge for a further two pitches before rapping into West gully to get Harrison back to the train station in time. A much better way to start the SW ridge in my opinion.

metrorat 10 Feb Lead Traversed in from the left of the slabs to the bottom of p2. Good conditions on the main pitch with some useful ice and some crud in the crack. Finished up sw ridge which had some firm snow in the lower half but increasingly powdery and buried higher up.

Just Will 29 Jan, 2016 Lead O/S The very first of many routes climbed with Murray - the start of our winter elopement as Storm Gertrude was busy assaulting the highlands leaving many to cower in the protected warmth of the CIC. Indeed, I must have given him such an earth-shatteringly pleasurable experience on this wild weekend because not long later he dumped his bird to free up time for more winter suffering with me. Appropriately, like Murray, the route was short and surprisingly easy. A pleasant ramble - very steady and well protected with a few nice moves near the top. We finished up the South West Ridge of the Douglas Boulder facing the full force force of Gertrude's perverse punishment - she clearly wanted in on the action. Luckily, this didn't deter Murray at all - he is used to being on the receiving end.

olekemi 8 Feb, 2014 Lead O/S We were on the line or a variation to it, but the current amounts of snow on the lower parts are making things appear different. The 1st slab pitch was a solo up, but pitch 2 and up is lean and thin at places.

freudy_love 2 Dec, 2012 AltLd O/S 1st pitch up slabs although not technically hard was bold with hardly any gear to be found and considerable covering of unhelpful powder. Crux pitch very enjoyable and good for the grade with the odd bit of pleasing in-situ to be dug out. Continued up SW Ridge for a while until dark, then abseiled off and down West Gully.
