25m. Good climbing on a strong line, building to a thrilling finish! The tower that supports The Horn has at its base a rounded rib. Steeply pull onto the rib and climb to the base of the prominent corner crack. Follow the crack up to the huge roof, traverse left, and make a difficult and exposed pull around the nose (crux) to gain easy ground above. Belay at the large tree atop a mossy slope.

harrybeadle 16 Apr Lead O/S Reasonably cleaned now but still crumbly & dusty. Really nice moves, definitely high in the grade technically. I think the crux was the mid-level crack, not pulling around the nose.

Jimbob64 26 Nov, 2017 Lead O/S Some serious gardening was needed on the initial rib which had been reclaimed by the moss and brambles. Wet and muddy work. Once onto the clean rock the climbing is excellent throughout and builds to a thrilling finish. ***

Strife 26 Nov, 2017 2nd β Amazing route (apart from the start which is now very much part of the forest). This route packs a lot of variety into such a short line, and is certainly high in the grade. The roof didn't dissapoint! This could be a three star classic if it gets cleaned up a bit. Get on it!!

julesmckim 9 Aug, 2015 - Brilliant route but failed at the last hurdle. Back sometime maybe or maybe not! Great climbing up the roof, good undercuts across roof, it was all going so well but just couldn't find enough at the end to pull around with. Ended up down climbing, taking out all the gear and then lowering into the bracken and nettle jungle to the left from half-way down - could have been easier to just finish the route. Highly recommended!

luke glaister 16 Jun, 2015 Lead β Brilliant route. Lead with kc's gear in to finish off the roof. I thought I had no chance under there when looking up. (6ft2) but found it quite easy. Getting to the roof was the crux for me. Get on it. It's well good.

Dale ?Mar, 2015 Lead O/S First route of the year and what a stunner. Looked quite hard so didn't really want to do it as my first route of the year but john kept saying I was going to be ok so I grew some balls and just got on it. Wow, missed out the run out start went around it, as it was covered in wet moss this doesn't detract from the route. Once on the route the middle section was like climbing something from red wall gogarth, very chalky had to clean all the holds. With one hard move to get to the huge roof I was finding it hard to trust my feet. Once at the roof the undercuts were wet I jammed my self into the corner composed my self and just went for it. The exposer and excitement was hard to contain. A crux pull at the end of the roof found me on the top and very happy puffing but laughing and wa hooing. Top toute 3 stars in my book.

JamesColeman 15 Aug, 2013 TR dog Top rope solo. Took a big swing just before first gear placement when grip snapped off. Would have been very nasty on lead. Lowered and started again. Fell off at jammed flake leading to roof. Lowered and tried again from mid point. Fell off in same place. Maybe too much side pull from solo set up? Maybe I'm not good enough? Pulled up on rope to finish, missing the most exciting roof section. Stunning line. Would like to try again on top rope.

If anyone climbs it soon I'd love my big blue chock and number 8 nut back please:-) Kindly retrieved by Kev and John Thank you!
