JoeCoxson 30 Mar Lead O/S Excellent pitch, just steep enough to to be a bit strenuous, but good rests. Gear is a bit wanting at the start, but good thereafter. Description seemed to want you to go to the sampling on the far side of angels girdle, but moving directly up was the obvious line. Approached from 1st pitch of RH Route.

Tom Brierley 7 Oct, 2018 Lead O/S Running a modified 1st pitch of "Right Hand Route" directly to the first peg belay of this is both more fun and efficient: Diverge from RHR when you hit the obvious big roof, traverse left under it, and continue left 4/5m on the foot ledges and finger holds trending upward, a sling around a thick branch of the bush as you pass. The 1st half of this route is easy to follow, however the guidebook description of the 2nd half is useless (after the groove with peg at top), since the peg references are gone - just follow the most obvious line up to and past the left of the little tree, up a nice little flake to a ledge then on easy ground up an obvious gritty right-leaning groove.

bpmclimb 19 Jun, 2010 Lead rpt There's a run out section (just one or two poor micros). If there was just one more peg hereabouts the whole route would be a more logical HVS 5a - I didn't think there were any 5b moves, just sustained 5a climbing.

Rob84 26 May, 2009 Lead O/S Soft for E1, more like solid HVS - there's jugs and gear all over it if you have small wires and the in-situ pegs seem pretty bomber. Absolutely cracking route though.

Bristoldave 9 Feb, 2008 Lead O/S This is a nice route, but about 6m above the belay ledge there is a hollow sounding block, which has a crack running right around it. This block forms a hold which I was unable to avoid using. There is no gear between you and the belay at this point, and the fall potential is bad. Don't necessarily be put off the route, as it's very good, but one day I think that block might well come loose.
