Rockfax Description
A fine addition straight up the centre of the wall using a high hanging arete and with a super-exposed roof finale. Sustained despite two good rest spots. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
New bolts between Manic Mechanic and Smokin' Gun, finishing direct over the big final roof. The first half shares ground with MM and SG, before a new finish.

November 2013: No longer possible to climb as a sport route, 2 consecutive bolts on the tough but superb hanging fin have been removed.

Not too hard, got numb fingers today but should be able to do it pretty quick with a bit of better weather.

variation up groove of FtT p.2 due to missing bolt (also placed 2 cams and a nut) and then fell pulling through final roof on wet holds. Missed a jug, should have committed better to get the flash as had battled with cold fingers to get there.

A sustained steep section leads up to a superb hanging fin, pull over this on to the immaculate white headwall. The intimidating roof is taken direct at its widest point One of the most exhilarating and memorable sport climbs I have done. Relentless is a plumb line taking in the best quality rock and the most impressive features on the face. The face has potential to be one of the best mid grade sport crags in N Wales.

Took the wrong finish, by traversing left and finishing as per Manic Mechanic, instead of launching out over the roof, above which there may be a bolt somewhere.
