Good pegs allow the climbing on this impressive wall to be savoured without the seriousness of the next two routes. The crux is easier for the tall. © Rockfax

Thin climbing up a technical wall. Once I figured the tricky starting sequence the climbing flowed, came off in the middle after missing an obvious hold. Tiring on the feet.

john lynch 03/Jul/17 Lead O/S

great, technical climbing. Felt pretty safe with all the pegs.

All the tech climbing went steady enough, very nearly came a cropper on the scramble approach. Omni shambles. Proper punter day from me. Followed by the best pork pie ever.

Crux is definitely easier for the tall as the description says. Was almost off a few times.

More of a TR as Jim took out gear, thin class climbing but fairly straight forward moves, hopefully try on lead next time. (Probably 6a for me as tallish)

Nicely chalked by the previous ascentionists. A great technical route on which height would be an advantage.

Lovely technical, crimpy climbing on tiny feet. Had to pop for crimps twice as I couldn't reach so I would agree that its harder for the short!

didn't feel like a sport route to me. but the climbing is really steady with good holds never too far away making you feel mostly secure when on it. it was good sustained climbing and felt around 6b/+ to put a sport grade on it never 6c+. nothing harder than British 6a on it. top route ***

Tricky to read - hard work all done by Kev on the onsight. E3 6a probably fair for the over-6ft, but E4 6b should still be the guidebook grade.
