Alkis 4 Feb, 2018 Lead O/S Perfectly iced up, enough cover all rock placements everywhere and to take ice screws, of which I had none. Soloed the first 25m before I found some gear, past the end of all difficulties. Memorable experience! Looking at photos of other ascents, it looks like it gets much icier than the conditions we found. The chokestone was not visible but its overall profile was there, so a mantel over an ice blob over a vertical wall was still necessary.

axelgrease 2 Apr, 2016 Lead Semi spring snow from the bottom gradually turning to sort of decent at the lower bulge (almost banked out), reducing to soft and deep at the usual crux (revealed hole beside summer boulder, combined with pull through picks on the soft exit snow make it icky for soloing).A 50 metre rope from the obvious bottom belay (No.7 cowbell) just makes it 10 feet above the crux. Easy snow slope above and tiny cornice exit to plateau.
