The easiest method of ascent of Tøftfossen, the first pitch (WI 2+) can normally be climbed solo, depending on ice conditions, the second (WI 3) follows a stepped line to the far right of the icefalls wall (see Tøftfossen Direct WI 4+). The third pitch (WI 3+/ 4) ascends the short column to a snow slope. This can be steep if conditions aren't good. Pitch 4 follows the ramp and steps to the gully at the top of the route. Walk off to the north or descend the ice.
