Rockfax Description
An extremely bold undertaking. From the peg in the flake on Witch Hunt, step right and climb a scoop. Pull up onto the wall above and follow a faint flake to its end. Step right and climb direct to a grassy finish. © Rockfax

I decided to pre inspect this first, then after looking at it I decided to top rope practise it first. After top roping it I decided it needed more practice prior to me attempting to lead it! I will be back.

Clean on a shunt from just above the water line, will sort out gear and go for the lead next time. Great climbing with a big run out in the middle.

Took the monster lob from half way up the run-out! Amazing route once it leaves Witch Hunt, went for the onsight but pumped out. Will be back, for sure.

Had worked the moves on the runout on abseil. Had to onsight the E4 lower wall (hard start). Messed up the ropework and very nearly fell off the crux. Dangerously bold rather than just scary bold? Ally reckoned F7b+.

Abbed the line. A rather overhyped guidebook description.

Brilliant moves in the hard section - felt around 7b+ (Alex said 7c but he's a shorty). Bomber gear then a big runout, would be hard/scary to onsight, but felt steady when you have the sequence dialled. First E7, first headpoint.

Great lead by Mike. He commited to the run-out section without any faff. Brill route
