Restricted Access

Due to the site's designation as both an SSSI and an Eurpoean Special Area of Conservation the landowner has been informed by Natural Resources for Wales that he cannot allow vegetation clearance, rock clearing or drilling on these rockfaces. Therefore until  please refrain from further new routing in this area.

Seasonal Restrictions

Dates: 15 February to 15 July

Reason: Nesting Birds

Peregrines historically nested on the far left hand side of the crag. Signs will be in place on the apparoach path if this is the case but the birds have not nested here for over 10 years.

There are no seasonal restrictions currently in place on any of Trevor rocks sections.

βeta: Felt harder than 4a. Both anchor bolts looked completely rusted through I don't think it should be climbed until they are changed

βeta: Direct start following first two bolts is definitely not f4. I’ve done easier 6a routes. The arête from start would make a comfortable 4 but using it will leave you awkwardly clipping or skipping first two bolts altogether. Obtaining the top anchor also feels tricky for the f4 grade. Not recommended as a beginner lead route.

βeta: Probably give it a grade 5 with the polish, it's all there and actually a fun route. Crux is at the start

βeta: Agree with other two comments - did this one as (thought it would be) an easy warm up. If you go up the arete, it is very difficult to clip the first bolt. Looks like a hold has broken off on the wall which would have made it possible at 4.

βeta: Have to agree with other user, first moves definately appear 5+, once past the 2nd bolt it is all over, although the lower off needs to be monitored due to the nature of the rock.

βeta: Straight up the wall at the bottom is not 4 more like 5+. Going left onto the arete is perhaps 4.
