Rockfax Description
Very good, if a little sharp on the finger tips. Start on the fallen slab, near the top of the steep path beneath the wall.
Move up to the stuck-on pancake of rock and move rightwards with difficulty to a line of sharp, shallow pockets. Continue up the overhanging wall to finish via a mono. © Rockfax

Don't really understand the sharp comments. Seems ok. Ace route especially with the direct finish.

Bouldery start feels very hard! May take some work.

Felt impossible to start with but ok once worked out the beta. Hard bouldery moves low down, then good pockets all the way

Decent route, not nearly as good as empire. Found this the easiest of the 7b's at anstey's

Hard for 7b, in my opinion 7b+. Decent route once you've done everything on Empire Wall

Didn't really enjoy this, the last section on the mono's was fun but most of the route is just painfully sharp.

Got on this last week as it was the first time I have seen it dry this year. However one of the better holds below the last runner blew off into lots of pieces when i held it. Now a touch more sustained, great route for the boulderers out there!

Hard, bouldery, sharp, but somehow appealing! I loaned it some skin from my fingers. But I will be back.

A very different style of climbing to Empire but probably the same grade - while the lower section is much harder (though footwork easier for the tall) the moves above ease off very quickly. A good route.
