Rockfax Description
A good route but it gets lost higher up. Follow the diagonal crack to the main break. Traverse left and finish up Kitten Claws. © Rockfax

Scary start, committing 6a moves with low gear just above the deck. Wouldn't be a bad shout to put a first wire in on ab to make it E2 6a. Upper section is really good 5c.

Just as good as Kitten Claws

Took a while to work out the start, climbing up and down until I found a sequence to take me to the first gear placement. After that, I don't think I've ever been so relieved to find a foot hold. Rest of the route was stellar. Long diagonal moves.

Bob led, pulled ropes and i led on the gear. Sporting.

Great climbing, better than Kitten Claws for my money.

Start is fairly tricky, but once you get to the first finger jam the rest is steady with good gear. I would like to lead it next year.

Thin start, then just thin on the feet. Got pretty pumped as a result came close to not cleaning it.

Cool route. Hard start and sustained until kitten claws. Pumpy on the feet, had to hang on crimps to give them a rest.

easier to climb and to protect than kitten claws. thin start but once in the crack nice climbing to the top.

Without chalk. The start was so close for me.

felt a lot easier than kitten claws for the grade - bomber gear as well. not too pumpy either surprisingly.
