Rockfax Description
The striking right arete is very tricky past the first four bolts. It relents to give fantastic climbing higher up. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Climbs the stunning Arete on the South Wall of Twll Mawr behind the collapsed quarry building (on the same level as the main access tunnels). Climb the right hand steep Arete which is smooth on one side and has an unusual criss cross pattern on the other. Great technical moves low down give access to delightful climbing above. Lower off on the pedestal ledge above.
NOTE: If you've enjoyed any of the bolted routes in Twll Mawr please consider donating to the North Wales Bolt Fund :-)

βeta: If anyone retrieves my locker from the last bolt please give it a good home! we bailed from getting to the chains- not sure how other people find it but when Katie sent some really big pieces flying towards my head we decided it wasn’t worth it… seriously loose up there :( (disrupted a few spiders at the start of the route so maybe it was bad karma) | βeta? | |
