βeta: Felt quite bold until the good nut placements below the crux bulge. Theres a good hook at the top of this and I managed to thread a big hex though hard to clip as my axe was blocking it. Good turf on the right wall where needed but very little ice on the slab. Cracking bluebird day ❄⛏?

βeta: Felt hard for grade 4, I've done easier 5s. Perhaps the turf for footholds less than before, or I'm just not climbing that well. Spaced gear but good hooks though. Absorbing climbing.

βeta: Climbed 8th January 2006, when there was an old looking in situ peg by the hanging flake. Good route, feels much steeper than it looks | βeta?
