12m. The wide crack right of the quarry entrance is a struggle. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
At least if you have a very large cam there will be no long term physical damage, only emotional. Not sure about which way to finish, I followed the crack to the left and finished with the finger crack.

Ticklists: Gritstone's finest gruesome and damaging struggles, Wide Cracks, Yorkshire Off Widths, WideBoyz Crack School, UK road to wide crack mastery.

filthy, awkward and not having a large cam, slightly scary - great fun

Pigeon poo & a wet hold made the top of the offwidth a bit harder.

Still horrid....without and no. 6 cam it's pretty much unprotectable and also ungradable!

Was very smug about how I solved the lower part of the offwidth, but the upper part had me completely beaten. Ended up hanging out on pinches, and I got that to work after a couple of attempts. Looks like I may have missed a neat layback option though!

Horrible as a second. A number 6 cam is a life saver haha!

The transition from the lower layback to the upper layback is impossible. Although Tim managed it quite neatly.

Soloed several times around this period. Not easy to protect anyway but once I'd figured out the best way to face and just where to turn round I realised that it would be quite difficult to fall out of!
