Rockfax Description
One of the major neo-classical testpieces in The Pass. A hard route to on-sight which often sees failure. The route tackles the wall just right of the central groove system. Start below a crack that leads to a sapling and climb up to the sapling. Climb the short groove off the ledge - above this the climbing is extremely technical and hard. Gain a crack up and left using pockets then exit to the right onto a ramp below a small roof. Make a hard crux pull around the roof - very thin and bold - to a good foothold. Continue up the bold and sustained wall above. © Rockfax
