Start off the block as for 'Grope the Slope' but ignore the sloping ledge and climb straight up with a difficult sequence.

1st redpoint. Seemed improbable until I found a sequence.

Dirty, chalkless and falling apart. That said: An awesome line sequence of moves taken direct - but pretty darn fingery and hard. Will reserve judgement on grade till complete but my guess is solid 7b.

Used sloping ledge, then half pad side pull for left hand, then half pad crimp just above for right then can get to large crystal holds. Seems way more logical than missing out ledge! 2nd go.

Nails. The start seems to have got harder since I last tried. Lots of goes, split fingertips, and only just made it in the end.

Fell at last move - 3 times.

Similar in style to Millimetre War and only a little easier.

Painful but the good move(s)'re satisfying.
